ESE: Digging Deeper into Literature for More Equitable Outcomes in ESE (led by Equity staff)

This course is designed to provide participants with information to build their background knowledge on the impact of socialization on bias and to consider how these biases impact the over-identification of black students in ESE. Through the book study, participants will better understand topics related to racial inequities and anti-racism as well as considering resources and strategies for individuals to create educational equity and use culturally responsive practices that promote increased comprehension and literacy for all learners including Students with Disabilities.
