This section if being offered in collaboration with the Florida Inclusion Network. The purpose of this training is to enhance the teaching and support strategies for teachers working with students with disabilities in the high school classroom. Participants will walk away with various strategies and supports as they relate to individual student needs, behaviors, social skill development, pragmatic skill building, academic supports, independent functioning skill building, the contents of the IEP and what the information means, each member's role on the IEP team, as well as various resources available (online, community, school/district-based, etc.). The target audience for this training is high school general education teachers. Teachers form other grade levels will not be permitted and are encouraged to seek out this training for your specific grade levels.
